I’m loving 21.

Who say’s you have to be 21 to shop at Forever 21? I love casual summer days/nights, and above is one of my favorite outfits to wear during the summer. You can dress it down like I do with some cute flat sandals for the afternoon, or you can give your feet a lift with some cute wedges for a warm summer night out.

I love the bold strips with the bright peplum top. They also have some great make up that you can get to match your outfit perfectly. I love their cream eye shadow kit, and their lip gloss comes in a palette of amazing choices. The small purse is great to use when you don’t need to carry a lot around and it can hold more than you think. Lately, I’m all about traveling light when I’m out and about. The less, the better.

I love bright nails in the summer and the boho look. Summer is my favorite time of year because you can put together an outfit in minutes, without being worried about all the dreadful layers that come along with winter. Above is what I feel is my favorite 2013 trend to share with you!

Julep.com have some great choices of nail colors to try, and you can even join their sample club. However, unless you’re a nail polish addict it may not be worth the investment. Even still, it’s great to invest in some different nail polishes so you’re not forced to use whatever they have at the salon. I love bringing my own, because it gives me the freedom to “choose my looks” for the week.

Ispy - May Glam Bag

So, I’m finally posting about my May Glam bag. It was okay, I was really not that impressed this month. The only item I really have enjoyed is the Juice Beauty reflecting gloss, and ironically they reached out to me for a special offer (just as a disclaimer they did not pay me to brag just about their item, it was merely a coincidence that I got the affiliate offer and because I do truly like the product I’m posting the offer).

The bag itself is cute, and I will probably use it for the beach. I like the bright colors. The other items, I’m dumping.

Here is what I got this month -

1. Yaby concealer refill, which would be nice if it wasn’t as big as my index finger

2. Zoya nail polish in a pasty cream color.. I might use it for my toes when my feet look tan. Still undecided.

3. Pacifica roll on perfume - Not my style at all, it smells very old. Not something I would enjoy wearing at all.

4. Nume finishing serum - I have fine hair, so this will just make it ultra greasy..

5. Saved the best for last, seriously this was the only item I have used. The Juice Beauty reflecting gloss, it goes on nice and smooth. Not too sticky and smells great. And it’s organic, which I love.

Like I’ve mentioned in a recent post, They are the lowest price club I am in. Sometimes they do send some really great stuff, but this month I paid $15 for a lip gloss. The rest tossed away.

I really, really heart Sephora!

I’ve always been a loyal fan of Sephora, but lately they’re really making my shopping experience even more divine. I’ve been a very loyal shopper for a while now, and I love stocking up on my points and adding them to my shopping bag during check out. It feels like my birthday every time I can score some free samples + my rewards.

Kicking off Memorial Day with my summer must haves.

Now that summer is finally approaching, as in warm weather and humidity I found myself reaching for my trusted favorites to get me through the days.

1. Invest in a good bronzer. You can still get a great healthy glow without the nasty sunburn.

Kate Somerville 360 Body Towelettes

These offer a great convenience with a single swipe for when you’re on the go. Best of all, because this advanced formula works with your skin’s own proteins, it gradually darkens to an ultra-natural, complementary color every time. I love carrying them around, and they’re great to take with you on vacation or a weekend get away. These are on the high side, but worth the investment.

2. Buy a beach wave spray. They’re great for those hot humid days when you don’t want to spend time slaving away with the blow dryer.

ALTERNA HEMP with Organics Ocean Waves

I’m a VERY big fan of the Alterna line. I use a lot of their products ranging from Shampoo to heat styling protectors and more. All I need to do in the morning is spray, set the blow dryer to low, and let it do it’s magic. My hair is left with beautiful waves, which look like I spent the day at the beach. If you want an even more defined look, you can try using a 1 1/2 curling iron after you blow dry. This will really define the waves even more.

3. Apply a sheer moisturizer with SPF. It’s light for the summer, and protects your most valuable asset… Your face!

Aveeno Positively Radiant

Not only does it protect your skin, but also it’s proven to even out tone and texture. Best of all, it’s green so it’s free of any harsh chemicals. It’s one of my favorites for the summer, because it goes on light and gives really nice coverage. Plus, it has 30 SPF so you’re protected no matter where your summer day may take you.

4. Use an Ultra Body Moisturizer to help keep your skin soft and hydrated.

Khiel’s Crème de Corp Soy Milk & Honey Whipped Butter

I will never stop using this product. I’m completely in love, no body moisturizer I have ever used can compare. It keeps my skin hydrated for the entire day and smells like coconut cream pie. Yes, it’s pricey but worth every single penny. Trust me you can’t go wrong. I get the best results when I apply right from the shower.

I can go on forever, but these are my TOP MUST HAVES to kick the summer off. I hope everyone has a great Memorial Day weekend!

I found some mint shoes.

Lately, I’ve been yearning for another shoe club to join, since I’m so uninspired with Shoedazzle. I recently stumbled upon shoemint.com and I’m fascinated.

Like most shoe clubs they have a head celebrity who represents the brand, and with this one it’s Rachel Bilson. She’s teamed up Nicole Chavaze and Steve Madden, an amazing stylist and well trusted shoe brand in my book.

Together they make quality shoes that follow the latest trends at a semi affordable price. I have to admit, I’ve already bought two amazing shoes to add to my collection (not that my closet hasn’t been bursting at the seams as it is).

But, I couldn’t help myself. Shoes are one of my favorite addictions and I’m hooked on this club.

One slip into the sole, and I was instantly impressed. Made extremely well, and a comfort level most of us girls only dream about.
