I’m always obsessed with trying new cleansing routines to help improve my skin. Most people say, when you find something that works just stick with it. However, when you’re a beauty addict like me it’s close to impossible to follow that golden rule.
So, with the warm weather approaching us here on the east coast I knew it was time for a refresh. First on my list, the Mia Clarisonic Facial cleanser. This tool has changed my life and my skin. In 2 days, I literally saw difference. Gone are my ugly pores, and my skin has never felt this soft in years. It is pricey, however in the end your saving yourself from countless facial appointments. I will never give up this facial exfoliator. Hmmm…Wait, never say never. I heard Clarisonic is coming out with a new model. So, we shall see!
I like to pair it up with Philosophy’s Purity facial cleanser. My aunt turned me on to this, and when used with the Mia it takes every single inch of make-up and residue off your face. Combined together, it leaves your skin fresh and ready for your other products to really do their work.
Next up, Josie Maran Argan Oil. I have combination skin, and I have heard so many people say the say what I’m about to write. “I’m so skeptical about putting oil on my skin”. Yet, being beauty addict that I am I had to give it a try. And, so I did. Amazing, it has cleared up and brightened my skin beyond my expectations. Just a small amount is enough, so it will last you for a couple of months. The best part about this product is you can use it all over your body and even in your hair. I even dab it on my cuticle sometimes to help keep them from drying up.
Lastly, Fresh’s paraben-free Youth Preserve moisturizer. Combine this with the argan oil and it’s magic. For my foundation, here is where this beauty addict sticks to the saying “Stick with what works” - Peter Thomas Roth CC cream is a liquid coverage I will forever use. Yes, it’s pricey but I love what it does for my skin, how it covers like a foundation and is light on my skin so I never feel like I have heavy foundation on.
So, there you go. These are my 2014 picks, easy and simple. I hope you try at least one of my recommendations. And, if you already have, I would love to hear your feedback.

August 5, 2014 at 6:43 pm (7 months ago)I’m telling you, I was very skeptical myself. I have been getting so many complements on my skin lately. Plus, if you purchase it from Sephora and use it, and don’t like it they will refund you 100%. So, it’s worth a shot
